Don and Michael Bartier, two brothers raised in the Okanagan Valley, took different career paths as young men. Don chose accounting and Michael became a winemaker, but both remained close. Don appreciated Michael’s style of winemaking and, over time, became fascinated with wine. With his brother Michael’s knowledge and assistance, Don planted his own small vineyard at his wife Sheila’s family property.
